American History teachers from around northwest Missouri gathered on Monday, January 28, 2008,
in the lobby of the Gary Dickinson Performing Arts Center for the eighth and last one-day inservice
held as part of the Teaching American History Grant, now in its fourth year. The day featured comments
from Dr. patty Palmer on economics; Kendra Coor, Theme Schemes, on understanding history; and
the featured speaker, Chris Day, who spoke on the Santa Fe Trail.

Thanks for this summer's wonderful experience. Looking forward to next year's adventure.

I had a wonderful time on the trip making friends and memories for a lifetime.

I want to thank you so much for such a wonderful trip! So many things I saw and learned from our guides will be slipped to my students during several of my lessons throughout the year. Just delving into the Native Americans and their part in the war has been a wonderful experience. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Thanks for all you did to make this trip a success.
